Reflection is a crucial and often over looked step. Lasting changes mean digging deep, looking into root causes, long term hindering beliefs, and examining past road blocks. We will also develop a daily gratitude practice, taking time each day to reflect on all we have to be grateful for. I will help lead you through both in hopes that at the end of 30 days you feel in control and gratitude will be your default.

You may be scared, feel like this is too big of an undertaking to handle…I have been in both situations and know the struggle. But. This is different. Together we can conquer this. How do you know if I am the right coach for you? My approach to Coaching is a little different. I not only want you to conquer your Whole30, I want to help you grow in every way. It starts with food, but that is just the start. The food you eat effects everything you do, and when we change that, we can change everything...
What is Whole30?
Certain food groups (like sugar, grains, dairy and legumes) could be having a negative impact on your health and fitness without you even realizing it. Are your energy levels inconsistent or non-existent? Do you have aches and pains that can’t be explained by over-use or injury? Are you having a hard time losing weight no matter how hard you try? Do you have some sort of condition, like skin issues, digestive ailments, seasonal allergies, or chronic pain, that medication hasn’t helped? These symptoms are often directly related to the foods you eat—even the “healthy” stuff. So how do you know if (and how) these foods are affecting you? Strip them from your diet completely. Eliminate the most common craving-inducing, blood sugar disrupting, gut-damaging, inflammatory food groups for a full 30 days. Let your body heal and recover from whatever effects those foods may be causing. Push the reset button with your health, habits, and relationship with food, and the downstream physical and psychological effects of the food choices you’ve been making. Learn how the foods you’ve been eating are actually affecting your day-to-day life, long term health, body composition, and feelings around food. The most important reason to keep reading? Hello and Welcome! If you are here, I think it is safe to assume it is because of your interest in improving your relationship with food. You came to the right place. I am Heather. A working mother, wife, fitness lover (that one still surprises me, if improving your relationship with Exercise is on your list as well, you’re in the right place) self-improvement passionate, and former food addict. I spent (wasted) many adult years in a body I was not comfortable in. I was able to lose weight, really good at gaining it all back, and then would suffer through another diet to lose it again….
I found fitness, which helped, but I still struggled behind closed doors. I had it all together, ate “clean” (whatever that is) Monday-Friday, but every weekend was the same struggle, fighting the urge to eat everything, most of the time I lost.
Food was how I dealt with stress. Food diverted me from my problems; it numbed me temporarily to anything I wanted to avoid.
Food was the ultimate distraction, until it wasn’t.... Wherever you are, I have been there too, and I want to help. At the end of the day, I think we all have the same goal. To feel good in our bodies. Whole30 is the tool that set me free, and I want to help you find YOUR freedom too.
