What is Whole30?

Certain food groups (like sugar, grains, dairy and legumes) could be having a negative impact on your health and fitness without you even realizing it. Are your energy levels inconsistent or non-existent? Do you have aches and pains that can’t be explained by over-use or injury? Are you having a hard time losing weight no matter how hard you try? Maybe you are new to Whole30, and not sure you can tackle a round on your own. Maybe you have tried before, but couldnt make it past the first week, or maybe you have completed a successful round or two but found yourself right back to your old behaviors after. You may be scared, feel like this is too big of an undertaking to handle…I have been in both situations and know the struggle. But. This is different. Together we can conquer this.

How do you know if I am the right coach for you? My approach to Coaching is a little different. I not only want you to conquer your Whole30, I want to help you grow in every way. It starts with food, but that is just the start. The food you eat effects everything you do, and when we change that, we can change everything...  

  • I am not your Cheerleader, cheerleaders still cheer when their players are losing. Not here. I am a coach who wants you to succeed. I will cheer for every victory you have. And if you are slipping, not meeting your potential or selling yourself short, I will coach you. We will work together to make sure these are 30 powerful days.
  • Daily Affirmations - we are not just dealing with what is on your plate. We are digging deep. Each day we will have an intention to focus on, and we will end each day with gratitude. At the end of the 30 days you will feel in control of your Diet.


  • Full access to me. If you have a question I will be there with an answer. Whether it is being unsure about an ingredient in your Ketchup, how to navigate through a Party or Wedding, or if you feel like you are close to slipping, I will be there to tackle every challenge with you.

  • Build confidence in meal planning and cooking nutrient- dense food for you and your loved ones.

How do you know if Whole30 is right for you?

Do you consistently feel worn-out or tired, even after a full nights sleep? Are you struggling to lose weight or maintain weight loss? Do you feel stress around food? Hello and Welcome! If you are here, I think it is safe to assume it is because of your interest in improving your relationship with food. You came to the right place.  

I am Heather. A working mother, wife, fitness lover (that one still surprises me), self-improvement junkie, and former food addict. I spent (wasted) many adult years in a body I was not comfortable in. I was able to lose weight, really good at gaining it all back, then would suffer through another diet to lose it again….  

I found fitness, which helped tremendously, but I still struggled behind closed doors. I had it all together, ate “clean” (whatever that is) Monday-Friday, but every weekend was the same struggle, fighting the urge to eat everything, most of the time I lost.  

Food was how I dealt with stress. Food diverted me from my problems, it numbed me temporarily to anything I wanted to avoid. Food was the ultimate distraction, until it wasn’t....  

I understand the destruction that comes with food issues. Wherever you are, I have been there too, and I want to help.

At the end of the day, I think we all have the same goal. To feel good in our bodies. Whole30 is the tool that can make that happen. If you are ready to stop dieting and start living then it is time to invest in yourself, this year, give yourself the gift of Health.

Frequently asked Questions:

Do I need to read the Whole30 Books? Yes and No. Yes- knowledge is power. Reading “It Starts with Food” blew my mind. Everything started clicking after I read that book, and it made sticking to my first Whole30 so much easier, because I understood the logic. From my coaching experience, I know people who read “It Starts with Food” or “Whole30” do better, they simply have a better understand of the program, and like myself, that knowledge made it easier for them. No- I do provide every member with a comprehensive book, covering all the rules, recommendations, label reading 101, tips and tricks, and more.  

Is this one on one coaching? No, all coaching takes place in a group setting. What if I cheat (quit)/eat something off plan? That’s a sticky one. My coaching style is pretty “tough love”. I know you are capable of doing this, and I am there for you in any sticky situation, and we will have a “SOS” plan in place! So, we can avoid this. But, in the very slim chance you do quit you will be removed from the group with no refund. I do not believe in creating outs, I know having a black and white “rule” will help everyone successfully complete their Whole30. 

Am I the right coach for you? Well, I certainly think so! I believe in the power of positive thought. I believe anyone at any time can change who they are and how they live. I I I I believe the food we consume plays a powerful roll in our mood, energy, how we react to others and how we treat ourselves. Because of this, I will talk about more than the Whole30. We will set intentions, use affirmations, and practice gratitude. I want to change your relationship with food and help you live your best life as well. I am not a registered Dietician, or medical professional. I am simply a girl with experience, both dealing with my own issues, and helping 100’s of members at New York Sport and Fitness. If you are pregnant, breast feeding, have a history of eating disorders, or have any medical condition you need to speak with your health care provider before starting. I AM a Whole30 expert, and Self-Improvement Queen who wants to help.  


Well…what can I eat? Food!!! So much food!! Chicken, Turkey, Bacon!, Fish, Burgers, Steak. Fruit!! Glorious, tasty, colorful fruit!! All the veggies you can handle! Ghee (what’s Ghee you ask? Ghee is magic! Also known as clarified butter…imagine butter, but tastier). Potatoes! (yes, you read that right!) Nuts. Avocados. And so much more! AND, here is the even better part! You don’t have to weigh, count or measure a thing! Just eat. How awesome is that!
